Bio
Husband, Father, Amateur Photographer, and regular working stiff. I see pictures wherever I go. One of these days I'm gonna drive right off the road because I'm too busy looking at potential shots when I should be watching the road. The Northern Lights are my favorite. When I'm out shooting them time stands still, or a least I wish it would. I once read a book by Mihaly Csiksezentmihalyi called Flow - 'This book Summarizes..... decades of research on the positive aspects of human experience-joy, creativity, the process of total involvement with life I call flow.' - When I'm out shooting the Northern Lights in the middle of the night I experience flow and life is good. Sometimes shooting sports is like that as well. Check 'em out, I hope you like them as much as I do, and feel free to leave a comment, I'd like to hear from you.
Cameras
Sony Alpha 700, Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D and an old Pentax K1000 (used primaily for long exposures at night).

Prints
If you're interested in a print, right click it, and email it to me, or send me the link to it at the following address: prints (a) richardlowes.com, I will reply with some sizing info and pricing. I don't do my own printing, I use a local business. If you are looking for a picture of a particular person or player, and don't see it, drop me an email at the address below. I have more than I put on here, and I haven't found an online supplier I like yet, so I'm still doing it the hard way.
